New Leon Cupra R ??

Featured Replies

Is it out yet as I see the new shape one with the Cupra R badges the other day, twin tail pipes, it looked rather tastey, shame you can only do 70mph on her majestys highways though in it

would have just been badges on a nomal leon (maybe the FR) as the cupra is not out till next year

They do look rather nice I have to admit. Surely you'll be able to take it over 70mph - everyone on here seems to have their very own private road.

And they arent doing a Cupra R.

200 bhp FR

230-240 bhp Cupra

IIRC.

Saw a Cupra in a showroom in Barcelona on Wednesday. Looked very nice!!

 Yer most people on here must be loaded as they do have their own private road......

Might of been an FR, whatever it is it was nice looking..

Interestingly the FR diesel is 170 - points towards a cupra diesel at 200ish :D

Also, the Cupra petrol's going to be 240 - who needs a Golf GTi eh?

My parents kinda have a private road but it's

1. In NL

2. Too short

3. In a nature reserve

4. Gravel

I reckon you 'could' get up to high speeds but it would destroy the car pretty much & it would be better to just drive through to Germany

Saw a transporter full of very tasty looking FR's this morning on the way in to work. I imagine the Cupra's going to look even better

Chris

The FR does indeed look tasty, which bodes well for the Cupra

I was partial to the previous shape Leon until I looked into insurance - I was quoted more for a boggo 20v Turbo Sport than a FRS...
