@chills No, you don't need the advanced driver assist package to have this option. I picked up my Sportline Edition today, the reverse camera  definitely displays the same symbols as my Superb, including reverse side traffic warning The only extras I wanted were,  my spare wheel kit from my 23_reg Sportline (good job as I got a low tyre pressure warning 2 miles from home ! ) and new OEM thick rubber mats.

Due to get my Sportline Edition shortly - one thing I wanted to ask is does it have individual tyre pressure monitoring readings that you can access via the virtual cockpit - I did see images online of the reverse camera display looking different to my 21 plate but wasnt sure what those images were for. I think the earlier poster was referring to blind spot detection though which is part of travel assist plus - I dont think that is the same as the images shown on the reversing camera though - happy to be wrong though!

I am not sure and sort of doubt it @mistac. My Superb did indicate which wheel it was...luckily it had a spare tyre when it deflated rapidly in the Derbyshire Dales an hour after we arrived at our holiday accommodation. That's why I bought a spare wheel and then the tool kit & polystyrene holder separately off eBay for my 1st Karoq, and retained it to install in this one. Yesterday  when the warning came up , I looked at the screen and all four wheels were highlighted in orange. I couldn't see which wheel was affected. I have had similar alerts previously on all my VAG cars and they have always been correct. I will check again this am. I think (and hope) it's going to be a small nail and a slow puncture  I have a decent air pressure gauge to help me check.

Pretty sure the Karoq ( like most VAG vehicles , I think! ) uses the ABS wheel sensors to detect a difference in wheel rotation speeds. That means it can tell you which tyre is low on pressure but not what the pressures are.

I keep seeing this, but when searching for Škoda Karoq pressure sensors (by make-model or Licence number)  I get the ones that are part of the valve and transmit pressure.

I can't think these would be recommended if they didn't work.

I must admit I was a bit surprised that my current ( and previous ) Karoq didn't have the TPMS-Direct system ( with pressure sensors ). I thought it was a requirement since my previous two cars ( both Fords ) had it. Turns out (I believe) that vehicles must only have a TPMS system that capable of identifying which tyre is faulty, which the TPMS-Indirect (ABS sensor based) can do.

I think a TPMS-Direct system is available as an option on the Karoq in the EU

Even which tyre is faulty is better than my MY21 Karoq  - all that does is throw a light (and nothing else) on so looks like it has changed a little in the last few years

That doesnt sound right, my previous vehicle was a MY21 Karoq and I'm sure I remember the TPMS warning coming up a couple of times and the message identifying which tyre (it thought!) was at fault. In fact both cases were false alarms...

My 2018 Octavia used to turn on the single low pressure light, but also put up a message, identifying which tyre was losing pressure. Not had a tyre lose pressure on the Karoq, but expect it might be the same.

I'm fairly sure that's what my previous Karoq did. It went off twice in the 3 yrs I had it, both times on a motorway after about 30 mins. I always carry a tyre pressure gauge, so both times I stopped at the next services and checked all the pressures. They were all the same and correct, allowing for some warming up. A TPMS reset and everything ok again.
