Parts diagrams by VIN

Featured Replies

Hi

are there any websites similar to Partsouq for Skoda parts? Where you can enter vin and see exploded diagrams

I need to work out part numbers and price up at autodoc

Thanks

Yes, this'd be good, if anyone knows...

Have been looking for years and any site that asks for VIN mine isn't reckognised or the site is infected with some virus etc. Was using 7zap but they now limit the number of times you can look up and its not VIN based. I use Febi parts finder as well as a few other aftermarket ie Apec, schaeffler etc but did find this site recently.

https://webautocats.com/etka/skoda/ Havent tried via VIN but seems to be fairly good by entering car details. Just watch for LHD and RHD especially if your ordering from autodoc

if your in the UK. Certain parts are LHD/RHD specific

I also use http://www.kakapart.com/ for cross ref. So far its been pretty good when it works. Site quite often has problems. It will list aftermarket parts etc in order of compatibilty  if an equivalent skoda part is available . Key in the skoda/vw part number and you get a list of alternatives plus I tend to double check everything it tells me before ordering by visting febi, valeo, fram etc sites

partslink24.com does it, but not for free.

Various short-term subscriptions are available though; £13.20 for 1 day is currently the cheapest option for UK.

The parts lists are the same as via the various free ETKA clones, but more up to date. Includes RRP.

VIN entry causes the relevant parts for that VIN to appear in normal black font with all the other ones greyed out.

Another possibly handy service I've just noticed that they offer is a full list (csv file) of all the parts for a given VIN. Currently offered for £15 for 5 VINs-worth. Appears under the heading "Additional fee-based services" on their subscriptions page and is called "Parts data Lists".

I see that sometimes, I just click confirm. Not sure how things may or may not be different with a limited time subscription though.
