Skoda Karoq ('19 plate) Infotainment Update

Featured Replies

Good afternoon all,

Today, randomly, my Android Auto has decided to stop working citing a lack of up to date software on either end.

I have updated both the Android Auto app, Google Play Services and my phone in general, as well as doing so on my work phone for the sake of a test.

So I'm assuming that the issue is on the end of the vehicle.

Does anyone have a comprehensive guide for the steps to undertake to update the infotainment system software at home? I did this back when I owned a Fabia and it was reasonably simple but I can't seem to locate the software or an 'idiots' guide on the process. If anyone could help, I would massively appreciate it as I rely on Android Auto for navigation when driving to and from my various worksites.

Thank you
