Superb MK4 specification suggests, that there is no more auto hold system installed - only hill hold assist is possible, which is very different. Can current Superb users confirm that this is true and the system is downgraded now? I still see Auto Hold in the Passat specifications, which should be more or less the same car.

Autohold is on the mk4 but not enabled by default. It can be set by the user. 

How can it be set by the user? Thanks

I’m away from my car for a couple of weeks but as I remember it was Vehicle-Vehicle-Settings-Brakes on the main screen.

Agreed. I had a Cupra on loan which had Autohold and I complained to dealer it was a feature I would expect on the upmarket Superb L&K. We went through the menus together and found it.

Good to hear that, I was also expecting it on mk4, as it was a standard on mk3

Hi there. As john625 has stated, I can confirm that the mk 4 superb foes have auto hold.  It can be added to the quick menu at the top of the main infotainment display so you can toggle it on or off, or you can find it by entering the vehicle menu on the ingotsinment screen, then selecting brakes which will lead you to a switch to select, or deselect auto hold.  Once it is activated the words "autohold" illuminate in white once drive is selected and when you brake to a halt, and the auto hold activates, the word auto hold turns green.  I will attempt to ost some pics with this reply. Hope this helps.

How do you add stuff to the quick menu?

 

I have the auto hold turned on but every now and again for no apparent reason it turns itself off, then I forget how to turn it on again!

Would be nice to have it on the top menu

Press and hold one of the icons on the quick menu to get to the editor.

Hi PhilSmith. See attached screenshot of the digital skoda superb manual. Where it says 'icons on top left of screen'..Read top right for a right hand drive car. Hope this helps. S

I'm having the same problem.

Have you noticed any pattern? Mine seems to do it randomly.

I had to turn Auto hold on after I'd taken delivery of my car, and I'm also having problems with it turning itself off at random.
