Transit at goodwood. Ultimate stealth

Featured Replies

Did anyone spot the tatty white transit going up the hill driven I believe by justin law.

I had a chat with them in the Paddock, its actually a xj220 with a transit body, it was built by jag to test the xj running gear on the road before the car was released. Top whack is rumoured to be a genuine 165 mph.

Its completely street legal & was driven down the M1 to Goodwood where its rumoured they had a bit of fun with some car drivers :) :) :)

:wrthless:

Is it available for hire? Gotta be better than the VW SDI-powered van I hired to do my house move

I saw it in the paddock and didn't even give it a second look. So find any old picture of a white G reg transit and it will do just fine...

Saw it go up the hill, pretty impressive! I was going to take a picture but it really did just look like a transit. Only differences were massive xj220 wheels, low and a big talepipe sticking out each side of the rear

We had a peek in the back :) :) If you look under it you could see the "non transit" suspension

Hopefully Goochie will post the pic I cant shortly

Imagine the meeting where someone suggested "I know.... rather than using an old XJS as the mule, why dont we use a transit van?"

Yep + 2 plastic pipes strapped onto it , various empty crisp packets & coffee cups on the dash & a copy of the Sun or similar, driver was in white overalls with a flourescsent vest, helmet gave it away

Not brilliant but the best I got of it, I really does shift....
