You need lots of heat in the engine to let the detergent really clean up the combusion chamber etc.

Thanks for the input all in this post, yeah could have a point, don't drive the car in sports mode..... Would you suggest buying the treatment you add to the petrol....... Eg the Forte additive, it's a petrol engine

I usually get shot down in flames if I start mentioning additives in fuel; so best play safe and stick with Super Unleaded 97 RON for now.

... and give it an "Italian Tune" i.e. drive it like you stole it!

If going to use 97 ron min in the UK from Sainsbury maybe just go 99 ron min with Tesco Momentum 99.
