Hello.

My garage has said that there might be an L&K version of the Kodiaq coming shortly. I currently have e previous generation Kodiaq L&K so I would like to buy this version again.

Has anyone heard anything about this? When can we expect this version to come be available?

Cheers,

Ludo

I've done a google search and it appears you might be able to get one............if you live in India!!

@Lugho I had to look to see that you are in Belgium.

Was it a sales person over there that told you. Someone with insider knowledge or like in the UK, tell the customer any old thing. It has a chance of coming true.

I have a 2025 Kodiaq Sportline in the UK and I noticed the L&K version had been deleted as an option. I think it was due to overall cost since it is obvious Skoda have done some cost cutting.

Clarification

@colmar51 Is it not because there were not enough orders or sales? Cost cutting hardly comes into it if people are prepared to lease or buy at the price they want to charge,.

I don't think so. The OTRP on my car with the options I chose (heated windscreen only) was £53,000. The L&K was always fully loaded and I imagine the OTRP would have come close to £57,000 if the option were available. Small things like the users manual now in a cardboard box rather than a faux leather wallet, and poorer quality (compared to the L&K) interior trim. As soon as I sat in it the cost cutting was fairly obvious. You are getting less car for more money.

People paying the High VED & splashing the cash are certainly going to want all the gear and quality. What is possibly a better vehicle as far as fit, finish and practicality on offer in the UK for a £57,000 list price? Then there is what can be leased at whatever monthlies.

The fact remains Kodiaq L&K is no more in the UK.

No loss really as there are so many choices. The VW Group issue is the brands and so much choice and models sold still not fit for purpose with snagging faults even though 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation plus face lift models. Faulty software, DSG,s that fail prematurely, still coolant / sensor issues, even door seals, sunroof seals not sorted out after decades of poor design or manufacturing. Vorsprung Durch Technik should not be s foreign language to a partly German owned corporation. Now VW Group are even turning out EV,s with faults as they are with PHEV,s. It was time they concentrate on reliability as well as quality and value.

Funnily enough, I though about the same cardboard thing when I took my VRS home. Still, I don't really mind, I get carbon footprint reduction, recycling and all that.

Hardly the point though !!

No idea if this applies to all markets, but AFAIK in EU at least no L&K was to be sold. In RO we got the base model, the Sportline and the VRS, and as long as you can configure everything that you want or let out what you don't, I much rather like this than packages from Merc and Toyota. Actually, this is why I own a VW product - the fact that I could configure what I want and not pay for glass bove my head or towbar etc.

So, what Im saying is that L&K was a marketing name, you can have the same specs from base model, or it might be the same with Sportline. I know some markets got a launch edition model, same thing, basically a base model with most of the options added.

I bought a VRS, so I'm polluting enough to accept the cardboard manual D
