Anyone else found that the “Send to Car” feature is not working? The App will seems to send the route but my Karoq doesn’t receive it. I use the App map feature for routes as it’s easier than the Nav search feature. I know it was working in March. Two weeks ago when I started the car a message was displayed saying “ car configuration changed accept / cancel” or words to that effect and I accepted although not aware of any changes having been made. Perhaps that was related.

It's not working here either.

Moreover, the over-the-air map updates have not worked since January.

I reckon it's all borked again. No surprise there, in view of Skoda's past incompetence with all things online.

Yes, several of us commenting on it in the electronics section of the forum that it seems to have failed over the last two weeks.

Apparently SEAT cars also showing same problem. So it might be VAG wide?

Possibly due to a cyberattack on VAG or, just as likely, a screw-up in the SW updates. The Škoda App has had a couple of updates recently. So it is a toss up.

Of course, they may have removed it to see how many complain.

Update today May 15th 3pm. Send route to car is now working again. I’m using version 8.2.0 of the My Škoda App.

Still not working for me (Yesterday, 14th May). Though now Reform UK have taken over the County Council, Staffordshire is no longer connected to the real world.....

Yes, it's working again here too. However, my version of the app, updated today, is 8.3.0 (Android).

Not to my surprise, the release notes say nothing of having fixed this bug. These are software developers who do not like admitting to their past mistakes. Eiither that or it was a back-end problem.

May I ask what map version people have, assuming you get over-the-air map updates? Mine is still stuck on 25.1. Last year it updated monthly; no updates now for four months.

App 8.2 on iPhone. I updated it a few days (week or so) ago but got an email from Skoda saying to update to the latest version 8.2.....

Maps. That is a good point:- Where do I find the Map version?
I have a feeling it was 24.10 last time I looked. I assumed it will download over the air but as I dont use the car every day and often for only short trips 5-20 miles, with longer ones (80-150 every few weeks, it may not have had time to upodate?

I was on map version 25.1 when I looked a few days ago. Having spent my whole working life in Software development on numerous platforms; I suspect it was a back end problem, tempted to suggest a version control issue. The problem wasn't fixed by updating to V8.2.0 and yester]day I got an email promoting new features in the My Skoda App related to showing 'Offers' on the Map and being able to navigate to the nearest dealer with that offer,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Same for me... I was thinking it was a backend problem but possibly due to cyberwarfare. There has been a lot of that going on recently, and VAG is a prime target for various reasons. Also, someone said there were reports of a similar problem with Seat so that might point to back end as the apps would be different, unless they all use the same model in the app? However, as the App said "sent to car" that would suggest it has connected the server and sent the payload the problem was more likely to be on the server.

It seems patchy that some people on both Android 8.3.0 and iPhone 8.2.0 are reporting it has come back.....

The map updates were working in Jan. Are there any later maps?

The other thing is the dynamic traffic updates work fine.

The send route to car only stopped a couple of weeks ago.

I am able to send maps from the App to my car at present. I did have an occasion when the car decided I wasn't the main driver and when I noticed I had to reset things. Could this be happening to other people? This would stop them from receiving updates to the satnav via the App.

That's possible if the update to the app got confused.... Though my app still talks to the car for status etc.

Hi All Škoda Drivers, you can now relax and not be concerned.... I can now send routes to the car again!

Seriously it's weird. Tried this morning about 10ish outside Brum and nothing happened. Went to Brum and an hour or so later when leaving the route arrived! as I was on the M6. Got home and tried again, and it worked instantly....

iPhone with All 8.2.0 Škoda Karoq SE L 2024 with Amundsen, MiB3 and maps 25.1

I haven't changed my App or car SW (AFAIK) so it points to the VAG servers. Given they were pushing the "new" V8.2 App, that I already had It might suggest as mentioned by others that there was a slow roll-out of versions of SW on the servers. What a fun world.

I'll try mine later today, it's currently in with Skoda having a service as I type this, fingers crossed mine also works.

Picked the car up from Skoda and all seems to be working just as it should so good news 👍
