I need the reversing signal near the MIB unit. Could someone please give me a tip on the easiest place to pick up the signal?

What you trying to achieve? Can you give us more information please?

Connector A on the BCM, pin 64 is the reversing light output.

The BCM is located just above the footwell, on the side of the dash. Near enough directly above the bonnet release handle.

However be careful what you attach to this. It may upset the car's blown lamp checking. It's probably fine as a signal line but I wouldn't want to draw any reasonable load from it.

I would like to retrofit a front camera. A switch controlled by the reversing signal is used to switch from the reversing camera to the front camera and vice versa when reverse gear is engaged or disengaged. Shouldn't be a problem.

I have another question about the pin assignment. Is this the view from the connector side?

In the photo you can see the BCM in the left-hand drive. Is the front connector to which the arrow points connector A or C?

@Pete_Ger did it work? I am planning to do the same on my skoda karoq, yesterday I've retrofited a highline reverse camera and I was thinking to activate the relay with the reverse signal from the BCM.

Does it throw any error? Thank you!
