Horn mounted in correct direction?

Hello

Whilst doing jobs to get car back on road I've noticed the horns oddly positioned.

The fabia vrs MK1 has 2 horns at front left side. If 12o clock is forward, one horn is 2 o clock, other nearest left side is 6 o clock facing backwards.

Anyone find this a tad strange?

If both face forward can I interchange the wiring that fork off a shared cable loom?

I used to fit new horns sideways and downwards not forward as I reckon it helps to stop debri etc getting into them.
