Pal has 1.6 diesel engine. Error message came up several times, but with no loss of power. Halfords said code required replacement accelerator pedal unit. A couple of days later the error light has returned. I've asked for confirmation of the actual code, but has anyone any experience

An upgrade to a pedal box could be a cheaper option ( assuming the original pedal still has basic functionality ) and would improve performance characteristics massively.
