Can anyone confirm (or otherwise) the accuracy of the oil capacity listed in the owners handbook (dated 2011) stated as 3.6 litres for the 77kw engine?

I carried out an oil change today with a 4L can of Castrol Edge and the engine took the whole lot (obviously, I started checking the level from 3.5L before the rest went in) and the level on the dipstick is only half way between MIN and MAX.
