I am considering an Elroq as my next car but would like to know from existing owners what their experience is with the incar entertainment system.

Current car is a VW T-Roc and my wife and I both have Google phones, which regularly have issues connecting to the cars entertainment system.

Maybe the problem is more to do with Android Auto, but even so, we will not be buying another VW car and with Skoda being part of the VAG Group, I'm keen to see if we could experience the same problems with an Elroq.

I can only say that it works perfectly with an iPhone. No issues whatsoever.

I am not surprised that your iPhone works okay, because from friends who I know who have iPhone's they work with VW systems okay, so I suspect I could experience the same problem with the Elroq as I do with my T-Roc.

If your phones are Google pixel phones or Samsung then having issues doesn't surprise me as I've seen reports of issues with both across many vehicle marques

My wife and I both have Google Pixel phones.

I have a friend who has the same phone as me, which is a Pixel 7a and he has a Polestar, and because it has a Google for it's system, the phone works.

Personally I've not seen the reports of issues, but as a user I can confirm that they exist.
