Blueflame all the way, skelmersdale.

Try Blueflame - I have one of these on my Octy

The sound is similar to the standard exhaust when cruising but when you put your foot down at 3k+ rpm a nice growl is emitted :D

Blueflame

/thread :p

Milltek

Other Phil (piv34uk) has one and it not only sounds nice but it looks good too. He does also have a 100cel CAT and custom down pipe though.

supersprint

Go for the Miltek in my opinion they are better quality having compared it to a Blueflame, and i also prefer the tail pipe design.

i've been looking into a exhaust to go with a hybrid turbo package and have been advised by jabbasport to be very careful as backpressure (moreso on TDis) can affect performance. Both Jabba and JBS reccomended Milltek. Apparantly Milltek are a bit quieter than blueflame too - depends if you want to turn heads i suppose.

The Milltek is not at all intrusive inside the car. Sounds nice from outside.

Milltek all the way...not to loud even with a 100cel cat:D

:) Phil

yup a milltek will be working its way onto my Octy sometime soon

Hi

Just a pointer that we sell the Milltek discounted on our web site.

We sell LOADS of these so for the money I think that they are good.

There is resonted and non resonated too so you can have it a bit noisier too.

I have a Jetex cat back...one of the first to be done by Jabba....and it is a quality fit....sat straight first time. Quite quiet compared to other cat backs as it has quite a large back box.

This was fitted to a Miltek dp/cat....IIRC Jetex now do a dp/cat....mad ethe sound meatier but not any louder than standard.

Cat back now fitted to a 3''dp and 100 cel cat...along with IHI turbo it....al ittle louder and meatier again...sounds great in tunnels.;)

looks like i may go for miltec by the sounds of things they seem to be good thanks for the replys

You boys!!

Haywood & Scott, the exhaust for men. :D

I have a custom Janspeed stainless steal baxbox and its sweet as - gives me a nice burble when I lit off too ;)

I agree actually, Hayward & Scott are excellent, but expensive also. Had our old Honda Civic's exhaust done there. From turbo back! Just a smeer under a grand!
