Kodiaq RS 2024+ wheel size

Featured Replies

Hi,

does anyone know for sure what is the smallest wheel size a new RS can fit? The official configurator allows to select 20" only. Looking for a smaller size for winter. Thanks in advance.

I would guess 18" which is what I think the SE has, but they'd look awful on the RS (vRS). If you go non-Skoda, check with the warranty and your insurance company. I'm in the Southern UK where we no longer have Winter, so hopefully somebody from eg. Scandinavia will have a proper solution for you. Have you asked you local dealer? Some should be happy to store your "other" wheels for you.

The Kodiaq MK2 owner's manual lists 215/65R17 6.5Jx17 ET38 wheels for snow chains.

17" wheels will clear the brake calipers on 340x30mm front and 310x22mm rear brake discs.

Technical data and specifications (Kodiaq MK2)

Permitted rim and tyre combinations for mounting snow chains:

Rim dimensions

Tyre dimensions

6.5J×17 ET38

215/65R17

Only use snow chains with links no larger than 13 mm, including locks.

Hi.

If you have any issues with insurance at all for winder wheels or tyre then please feel free to drop me a line.

It depends on your country legislation.

I RO we have a body issuing our car papers and on those you get the approved sizes (what is homologated for the country).

That being said, Kodiaq 2 can be fitted with 17 to 22 inches rims.

I have 18 for winter and 20 for summer and do not agree that 18 looks bad on VRS. D
