Hello all.

Trying out my first post. I’ve just bought a 2017 Yeti from Birmingham. Discovered the “Full Skoda Service History” advertised by the dealer was 30k miles short of the truth, so I’ve a bit of work catching up on the maintenance. Fortunately I’ve about 20k miles before the belt/water pump is due for its 2nd change.

Regards to all

Hi and welcome to the forums

@CapDin Welcome. Is it a TDI you have bought? How many miles has it done? Was there a Full Skoda Service History showing not all servicing to the manufacturers schedule, guidelines or recommendations carried out?

Yes, it’s a 2.0 TDI. I was given a printout of the service history reportedly from Skoda up until 104k. Now at 130k. Done an oil change. All filters changed. Just going through changing the coolant which isn’t in great condition. Flushed through with deionised water a few times, and given the Holts flushing treatment. Need a final rinse before adding the new coolant (G12/13). Bit of a problem with the cabin heating. Doesn’t seem to blow hot air even with the temp set to max. Hoping to find info on the engine on this site. Though I believe it may be useful to get an OBD2 reader.
