Where can I find this pressure regulator?

I checked the pump and it works for a few seconds after turning the key.

That should prime the system, if so, then if you switch off and try it again say 5 minutes later and probably far longer then you shouldn't hear it priming again?.

That's right, buddy, after turning the key again, you can't hear it. So I think there's pressure in the system.

I think the pressure regulator is part of the high pressure fuel pump on the 1.0tsi. On earlier engines it is separate. On my sons fabia 1.2 I am pretty sure its part of the fuel filter. Not sure how to check. May need specialist equipment to check pressure while running VCDS.

Hello, after continuing to search for the cause after unplugging the ECU connector, it turned out that the yellow/blue wire is disconnected. It's likely that the wiring harness was bent and a break occurred. Now I need to locate the break. Thank you all for your help in solving this problem.

You could just cut the wire near to each connector and add a new wire linking the two.

(Check that the parts you have cut have continuity to their nearby connector before joining them.)
