Hi everyone,

I'm Dave, just bought my first Skoda Octavia 2 TDI vrs.

I come from a long line of modified Japs cars, and my last vehicle was a modified nissan Navara.

Only after the birth of our first son 7 months ago, did I realise I needed something a bit more sensible, and after scrapping the truck and rocking about in the mrs' 1 series while she was on maternity, I finally took the plunge.

I decided on the Octavia after taking a shine to them in work. I'm an auto sparky and we convert a lot of different vehicles for blue light (police, ambulance, covert, etc) and the Octavia seemed to tick all the right boxes.

I've gone for an older model as it came up cheap and I'm on a budget for the moment, although the plan is to clean this one up, sell and buy a newer version.

What age/ spec Octavia did you pick up?

It's a 2013, late MK2 TDI vrs black line.

So far, nothing but problems, but I'm arguing with the seller to get it sorted 😮‍💨
