Firmware update request for Skoda Kamiq 2020 (MIB3)

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am looking for the latest stable firmware update for my Skoda Kamiq. I am currently experiencing "Connection Failed" messages with Android Auto on my OnePlus 13R device. I still haven't been able to connect with success.

Based on my system information, here are my details:

Device Part Number: 654035871B

Hardware: 040

Software Version: 0742

Could you please provide a link to the 1941 (or the latest recommended) firmware update for this specific unit?

Thank you very much for your help!

Thanks for the reply. Sending these pics from menu. Do we verify that there is no latest version I can use?

Found this as a response in mib helper

"Latest available firmware updates:

Latest official firmware update: MEN3_EU_SK370_P1185L (MU: 1760, details).

Latest possible firmware update: MEN3_EU_SK370_P1185L (MU: 1760, details).

Download firmware updates from here."

Is that the one I could use?

Hello.

I have the same issue with a Skoda Kamiq 2020 and that I can not connect a Oneplus 13 (with Android 16). This is due to that SKODA has not introduced the Android 13 and upwards for the infotainment system. I changed from Oneplus 5T to Oneplus 13 approx one year ago and since then it is not possible to connect the phone via cable (mandatory) to the infotainment system (Bolero).

Skoda has a Compatibilty list which shows up to which phone model that is compatible to each infotainment system. https://compatibilitylist.skoda-auto.com/

But please. If you or anyone find or have a solution (without buying a new car). Then I am interested to follow that information

One more thing.

I have been in contact with Skoda via [email protected]

Latest answer in Dec 2025 was:

Dear user,

We have taken over your case from the infoline, we are sorry for the complications that may have arisen.

We consulted the situation with colleagues from the department that specializes in this area.

Unfortunately, this mobile device model has not yet been tested from our side, and therefore we cannot guarantee its compatibility.

You can try and contact Google customer support, the owner of the Android Auto interface.

Please note that the Android Auto interface has not yet been released by its author in some countries, and as such may not be supported by Google in these countries.

Thank you for your cooperation.

If you have any further questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best regards
