Hi, I am new at this forum and I want to ask for help with modifying my Skoda Octavia Mk III 1.6 TDI car.

I wanted to use my foglights as cornering lights, I tried using VCDS 21.3.0 and VAG-HEX II adapter,

In central electric menu on vcds I modified these values

• ENG116948-ENG116104-LEUCHTE12NL LB45-LICHTFUNKTION B 12 → Changed to Abbiegelicht links

• ENG116949-ENG116123-LEUCHTE13NL RB5-LICHTFUNKTION B 13 →Changed to Abbiegelicht rechts

• ENG116944-ENG116028-LEUCHTE8FL LB39-LICHTFUNKTION B 8 → Changed to Abbiegelicht links

• ENG116945-ENG116047-LEUCHTE9FL RB2-LICHTFUNKTION B 9 →Changed to Abbiegelicht rechts

Not only now I dont have foglights as cornering lights, but also my headlight flasher function disappeared

Change Back To OEM Setting

Did you capture an adaptation map before you made your modifications?

It looks like you've read too far in the VCDS modifications doc; changing channels B8 and B9 are only for vRS models, so they should be left alone.

Also, make sure you've set it as ABBIEGELICHT LINKS / RECHTS, no ABBLENDLICHT or similar. I did this by accident on the right side when I first set up cornering fogs.

Have you reverted channels B 8 and B 9?

Vcds have a Change Log File

Which light you have? Halogen? LED? Xenon?

Successfully managed to brign back the flash funciton, had to changed back channel B8 and b9 to lichthupe generell
