Yeti 2016 Radio / Clock & Touchscreen Fault.

Featured Replies

Have a fault with the radio. The clock isn't working, the touch screen is sometimes unresponsive , specially on the left hand side and the radio channels are randomly skipping all over the place.

Can someone point me in the right direction for an easy repair that I can do myself or a replacement which is easy to fit? Don't want to pay a fortune for a dealers replacement .

The unit doesn't have built in sat nav but would be good to have something that does.

I've been looking at some dash mounted units that connect to your phone but don't really have a clue how they connect to the car ( old bloke with limited tech knowledge)

A few links to something decent and inexpensive would be great.

Thanks for any help.

barzud,

Go onto YouTube & look for your radio to help identify. Then follow instructions, how to do it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bj1L6VDmkRU .Check this is your one?

Then Go to ebay.

Look up radio & get a new Digitizer screen.

Cheap enough to do at home.

Why don't you just get on and replace the digitizer and see what happens - it's cheap enough. Solved my issues. If it doesn't work, then go to the next stage...

What's the next stage?

bazrud, don't think about that till you have replaced the digitizer.

Just a heads up, don't remove the old one. You just disconnect the ribbon cable & stick it out the way.

Your new digitizer fits on top of the old one. Follow the instructions on the you-tube video.
