API Car/Charger Conflict

Featured Replies

I have a 2025 Skoda Express Coupe on v5.4 software, Ohme Home Pro charger on Octopus Intelligent go.

I made a mistake of linking both car and charger and have conflicts which are preventing scheduled charging.

I've tried deleting the car from the Ohme app but it keeps remembering the connections (I've deleted phone cache).

In the short term I'm going to disconnect the Ohme account and use location charging for scheduled charging via the Enyaq/MySkoda app. I think this will be a temporary fix.

Another advice on clearing the API links? I'm guessing the Enyaq probably needs to forget the link to buy other than a factory reset I'm not sure how I could do this.

All advice gratefully received!

I would delete the car and potentially unlink the Ohme from Octopus and then start again but just link the Ohme to Octopus. Let Octopus drive the Ohme and let Ohme manage the charging. The car API integration is notoriously flaky (with VAG group being one of the worst) and even Ohme don't recommend linking the charger to the car API.

Have you followed these steps:

How to reset the connection with my car app account (API) - Ohme EV

If you only want to charge to 80% then use the car to limit this rather than IOG.

Thanks for the reply and no I'd not seen what you have posted in the link. We are away for a few days but I'll try this when I get back.

Thanks again!
