Hello all πŸ‘‹

I’m new to Skoda but I’ve had many many cars over the years. My dad however has had many Skodas (and other VAG cars) in recent years and loves them.

I am and engineer and have a huge interest in classic Japanese cars and modified cars in general, but recently my commute has increased and I needed a cheap and (hopefully) reliable car that does good mpg.

While searching Facebook Marketplace 2 1/2 weeks ago I found a 2010 Fabia 1.6tdi Elegance Estate with a recently lapsed MOT, 173k and full of mud/dog/horse, up for Β£500!

I went and had a look and found a few jobs needed for the MOT but nothing obviously awful and it looked pretty tidy under the mud, so I chucked him an offer of Β£350 and he took it!! πŸ˜πŸ‘Œ

In the last few weeks I have been cleaning it up and prepping it for its MOT, and I may of been adding a few mods, because why not πŸ˜‰ so hopefully in the next week or so it will be on the road. 🀞

I’ll do a proper build thread in the Fabia section soon 😁

Thank you ☺️
