Heated door adjustment control for Fabia MK3NJ ('19)

Featured Replies

Hello

Recently purchased my MK3 Fabia 2019 and it's fantastic, but I have a couple of issues with the drivers door mirror control.

My main gripe is that the heated mirrors are specced as an option but whenever I turn the switch to the heated position, it doesn't stay and instead clicks into about 9 o clock, rather than 11 o'clock clock, where the heated icon is. the mirror adjusters work for both sides so the switch is still connected but it doesn't sit in the heated position. Is this something that would need a new switch, or is it likely to be a fuse problem, or something completely different.

Any help would be much appreciated. Looking at new switches online they seem relatively cheap for a LHD model, but RHD ones seem to be more expensive and harder to come by.

Thanks, Benjamin

That is how it works.

Do the heated mirrors work?

Thanks. AG Falco

That’s the way those switches work, the mirrors only heat up when the rear heated screen is switched on.

Not with mine.

They work independently.

Also work independently on mine. And yes the click position is as AG Falco says.

Have just replaced the 10A fuse as well so will update you in due course. Thanks

Apologies my Touran and Karoq work that way and I thought our Fabia was the same - I usually only drive it to get petrol as my partner she’s not very keen on that aspect of car ownership!

My Peugeot was like that as well.

Thanks. AG Falco
