Hi, I leased new Scala in 2024, 1.5 TSI, manual transmission. After several thousand kilometres, a rattling metalic noise started to appear when accelerating rapidly. https://youtu.be/5PKGwyPiL94?is=DC43WLQu0NPnveYU

You can hear it in the video above around 3 sec and 16 sec of the video. It doesn't appear always, but recently definitely more often. It seems to appear completely randomly.

I have visited dealership twice with this problem but each time the sound didn't appear.

I wonder if anyone had similar problem and knows what might cause this noise.

Hard to say from the video.

Try using Super Unleaded petrol for a tankful or two. See if the noise disappears after the second fill up.
