Coolant issues

Featured Replies

Hi

I’m starting to think my 2016 is beyoud saving

I’ve changed thermostat charge cooler heater matrix

Had the head gasket changed on a full engine rebuild

Egr removed and blanked off

Dpf deleted

Yet the car will not stop introducing air into system is it vital to bleed via. Vcds or obd11

Or do can it be achieved by the old fashioned way of burping it

It’s a 2.0 tdi VRs

Coolant air locks can be very persistent, I'd strongly suggest trying a drain and vacuum refill at the very least.

I understand there is also a VCDS bleeding procedure that can be used.
