Wing mirrors and Xenon lights

Featured Replies

Hi people,

I recently picked up my mk1 vRS WRC and just have a couple of questions. Firstly, the drivers mirror glass is normal plain mirror with blind spot mirror on the end whereas the passenger mirror has a blue tint to it. Which mirror is correct? (I know its a minor point but would like it to be right :P )

And secondly I have the xenon headlights which are great but I get flashed by literally every other car as though I am on full beam!? I know they have a self leveling thing but is it possible to have the height altered as I'm sure they must be sitting too high? Is it a skoda only job??

Thanks in advance for any help!

Regards,

Phil.

:( Anyone?

the glass is normal thats what they are in my vrs as for the lights

pass on that one

The Xenon height can be adjusted using VAG-COM, or the dealer can do it for you.

Never noticed if the glass is like that on my vRS..

i got an 53 plate vrs and both mirrors are blue

Our Elegance has plain glass mirrors on both sides. I think someone has broken one on your car and replaced with the wrong variety.

so looks like mine is wrong then :D
