Can some body please confirm if AIRBag part number is correct as per attached screenshot of vcds ( 6R0959655K) for Fabia Mk2 13plate Monet Carlo 1.2 Tech tsi.

That is the airbag control unit part number, and it is correct for your car.

partslink24 also has the "T2C" string seen in the Component field of your screenshot, as a further suffix after the 'K'.

Shown as "6R0 959 655 K T2C"

I would suggest that this is the original unit, but can't be certain.

Before you ask, I have no idea about coding, or what T2C means, or anything much at all about airbag systems, sorry.

Dear Pete , Thanks a lot for yoru advice , Thought to update , Solved many issues just left with 3 related AIR bag issues , Air Con ( normals gas issue - low priority and 1 door hinge locking issue , online reading/watching videos and also VCDS team guided me ECU coding was very easy . Thanks to you for you invaluable advice as always in choosing VCDS supplier.

So far issues and their status :

• Mechanical key central locking - Wrong part number, driver actuator , all fine now -Solved

• Understood why the passenger air bag light was not coming up on dashboard even though there was ABS error, it was disabled in cpu , and now enabled it using VCDS -Solved

• Radio error was coming , corrected the configuration using VCDS - error gone -Solved

• Navigation error was coming , corrected the configuration using vcds - error gone -Solved

• Central lock/unlcok button switch was not locking but unlocking all doors perfctly - analysed using vcds and found that switch is issue because unlocking working fine -Identified what needs to be done next

• Door hinge issue- Identified what needs to be done next

• Air Con issue - Known still not investigated further will not need AC

• 3 Passenger bag light issue : Looked the belts it seems they are changed , I think novice mechanic may have messed up with yellow plugs may be broken or loose - let see

• May need to clear the old crash date from controller - Need to understand what/how/where . to be done ( ANY thoughts please, Also not sure if it is needed or not because it may not be old data may eb showing current data.

• Lastly need FOB central locking mechanism with duplicate key - discussed with auto-lock smith hopefully will be done soon. ( Any thoughts)
