Pioneer Head unit

Featured Replies

I have just bought a 2014 Estate
it has a Pioneer headunit with android auto, DAB & Nav

however - the NAV doesnt work (in settings it says GPS antenna ok) - but in the app it constantly shows 'looking for GPS'
DAB - will pick up a few stations when parked - they drop if driving, and it cant pick up any others
FM - will only pick up Radio 1,2 4 and Heart - nothing else

the glovebox CD player is also apparently dead

anyone got any ideas where i start looking - i'm assuming all these symptoms are antenna related - i dont have an external antenna on the car - looking on some forums i saw some stuff about an antenna booster - where would i look for that - or maybe a fuse?

The antenna is in the rear side windows.

You should have a sharks fin on the roof for the sat nav.

The issue must be the head unit.

The glovebox cd Player only works with the original unit.

You can check satnav and dab conections at the back of the unit.

Satnav is the blue plug and dab the Black one.

If you don't have theme, maybe the car was not fitted stock with them and therefore explains why.

The person may also have fitted After market antennas, depending where they are it can also be the issue . You say don't have an external antenna so it is most likely the issue

Added note for radio antenna.
