Latest download for Kamiq

In 2022-2023 I had problems downloading the updates fro my Skoda Kamiq and eventually it had to go in to the dealers to be brought up to date - a four or five job on the computer.

I can't recall any notification of updates since then until recently when a few weeks ago the message appeared on the centre display that updates were available and I tapped on the download option and then OK to the message about sharing my position. This occurred a number of times every few days or so and I began to be suspicious that there might be a problem. However, on Saturday, 13th June, the downloads available message came up again and this time after the sharing position message the central display became simply the time and date display, as it usually does when a download is taking place.

One thing that was different was that for the rest of the journey (an hour and a half) the speed warning kept sounding frequently, even when I was travelling at less than the maximum limit, and occasionally for every mile per hour the speed reduced! Eventually, this stopped, but the time and date display continued to the end of the journey.

Next day, the time and date display was still the default and attempts to change to the menu screen or radio display were unsuccessful, until I remembered the hard reboot trick, which brought the usual display back but with no speed warning working. However, the next time I drove the car, the speed warning was working as does everything else so far as IO can make out.

So, two questions:

1. Does anyone know what the current release figure is for the car diosplay etc., and

2. where and how I can find it?
