Front nearside wing replacement Superbb 2017

Featured Replies

Hi..having to replace front nearside wing Someone put a nice ding in it. Got a new painted wing from approved supplier.

Any advice on who to select to replace the wing? Is it really a dealer job, or can an independent he trusted?

In Stownarket area

Certainly not a dealer only job. Straightforward enough for a relatively competent DIY’er.

I have the body repair manual. See the relevant pages below.

If you are not confident, I can highly recommend VW Audi workshop in Ipswich, or James (not sure of his company name) in the unit next to hadleigh tyres in Needham market (ex VW Audi workshop manager and mechanic)

Or I have tools, blind confidence and don’t mind having a go! I live about 10 minutes from your area!

@MCollings selecting a place is always best down to recommendation from personal experience. If Binx is happy with it and he’s been there, that’s what you’re looking for 👍🏼

Yup. Used vw Audi workshop for servicing work for a couple of years and been very happy. And James’s place is a spin off from it so should be as good. No idea on panel work but as it’s a bolt on bolt off job there’s no reason they shouldn’t be good for it.
