Offered an OTA update today

Featured Replies

I have had my car for about six months. Was getting bugged with the repeat updates that lately appeared every day. Today I have been offered a proper system update, hopefully that will get rid of the constant small updates.

The files it's downloading is :- M013_EU_SKMQB_P33400P...

0/3602 MB. Fingers crossed it's improving it.

Cheers

Keep getting the update repeats on the wife’s kodiaq. Hopefully they will get a proper update soon too

Firmware 0334 ist Last one for this HW

Hey, same here! I was bugged with the repeated updates from months and was about to tell the dealer to update the infotainment manually in the next oil change.

Yesterday I was notified about this update and that I should not drive the vehicle until it completes.

Hopefully that will cure the update notification every other trip.

For me 0334 has not only fixed the continued update issue it's fixed the connection issues I had with Wireless Android Auto

Ours is still on 302. Got update notification just now and pressed update but nothing happened again. Checked an hour later and still on 302

I have Android Auto set to Autoconnect and start which it used to do wired but wirelessly it would always bring up the "Connect to Android Auto" screen. I'd accept and connect then sometimes it would drop and bring the connect screen again. Also once connected in wireless Android auto I'd get the odd Audio drop out.

On 0334 as soon as I switch on Android Auto auto connects wirelessly and no Audio dropouts.

Instead of the usual autoupdate screen you should get a full screen System Update notification. Mine still took a day to do it.

Yeah, I got the 334 update on Saturday. Seemed to go on OK, then did a large supplementary update that also reinstalled the shop to the main menu (it had disappeared a week ago from mine).

Hoping this will see the end of the daily updates and hopefully sort out the issues with CarPlay being super slow to respond to screen presses etc.

Just need them now to add icons for all the radio stations that still aren’t in the logo pack and we will be laughing.

You can add those manually. If you find an image of what you want and put onto a stick plugged into the usb port or onto an sd card if you have a slot
