It's been a very long time since I posted anything here.

Over the last few years, life has thrown a lot of curveballs my way, both good and bad.

Some may remember me from the very early days of Briskoda, from what I remember I think I am something like member number 6.

I was very active for a very long time on this forum, I started with my Mk1 Octavia vRS, one the first imported into the UK, then got a MK2 Octavia 1.9PD and then a Mk2 Superb. From there I had a couple of Audi's.

Then life got in the way, both my Parents passed away, I got made redundant from my job in Dorset and times were tough for a long time.

Today I am back in my home town, have a job working for a previous employer, and became a first time buyer in my late 50s after years of renting. My present car is a 2017 Volvo V90 Inscription with 2.0TD engine. I got it 5 years ago with 28K miles on it, and it now stands at 71K.

So I am still around, I am not going to post much, but just saying hi.

Here are two of the Audis, both taken at Briskoda Meets. Once is at Gaydon and the other was up noth somewhere.

Welcome back and nice to say hi again @mannyo Last time we met was either at JKM on a rolling road day or at one of the New Forest meets. I'm afraid my trusty MkI Fabia Elegance (154.5bhp by the way ) has long since gone.
In between I've had a MkII Fabia which was sold when we moved to Germany, a Rapaid Spaceback (sold a month ago) and I'm now in a 2023 SEAT Ateca.

I am a stalwart and have a 2013 Roomster SE 1.2tsi which I bought new. This made me join the forum for hints and tips which have proven useful. It's over 10 years since the Roomster ceased production so posts for the Roomster is lessening. Mine still looks and drives like new and the dealer is amazed at its condition inside and out. I am reluctant to change it for the hassle of infotainment screens and buggy software updates. I am thankful in thinking my Roomie is the best vehicle I have owned with only one headlamp and registration plate bulbs the only ones replaced. Viva the Roomster
