DSG DQ200 service information

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

Like so many before me I question so called sealed for life items like the DSG gearbox, I migrated from a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Mercedes 2.7L and that was supposedly also a sealed unit but not many drivers trusted that recommendation.

So i came across this site when researching the issue and has alot of useful information, it’s a German site but you can just translate in the browser or with other translation apps if required.

Enjoy

VW DSG 7-Gang DQ200 Ölwechsel – Intervall und Ablauf

DSG DQ200 Ölwechsel beim Golf 7, Audi A3 oder Skoda Octavia: Welches Öl, welcher Wechselintervall und warum ODIS Adaption-Reset nach dem Service Pflicht ist.

Not translated or read that. Plenty info on here on DQ200,s. Change both oils if you want. If you know what you are doing or the mrchanic does. Pre 2013, then 2013-2017/18 then on might have different issues. Service campaigns / recalls in 2014 and 2017 and tpi,s/tsb,s.

Thx, problem I have when searching the forum (not only this one ) is that information is very fractured which means reading hundreds of posts and then trying to piece together something useful.

The search function is weird, tried several keywords but search return list is not great and will often show results that are not even about the search subject matter.

Briskoda DQ 200 servicing. Or Briskoda DQ 200 oil changes. In any search engine. Ignore Fabia MK2 threads as obviously pre 2015 issues. Service campaigns.
