Skoda Karoq 2026, 1.5 tsi, petrol - First oil change when?

I have just bought a brand new Skoda Karoq, 1.5 TSI, petrol and I was wondering when should I do the first oil and oil filter change for longlevity of engine (vw508, 0w-20)?

I own a Skoda Fabia, 1.0 TSI, petrol from 2018 and I did the oil and oil filter change firstly at 5 000km and then every 8 000km (vw 504, 5w-30) and car is now at 92 000km without any issue.

Car drove as normal in drive all evening. Parked for 2 hours, went to drive home but car would not select D. Only way to get drive was to pull back into drive and then over into M. Car drove normally on paddle changing down automatically. Minus paddle not working at all. Selector pulls back to N but unless you immediately shift left to M it just springs back to normal. No fault codes recorded. Any ideas please.

I'm sure the many petrolheads on here will be following the Jaguar odyssey in the press and I wondered if your views have changed at all. Personally I figured if you were going to go down, you might as well go down swinging, so Jaguars "in for a penny" decision was not one without merit. Like many, I despaired at what seems a Lemming like attempt at suicide by Jaguar, as they abandoned ICE cars and went full 'white goods' mode. How do you drive an EV for best efficiency?

It may be a conceit, but I believe I have a reasonable idea on how to get good mpg from an ICE vehicle, especially around our urban environment and without breaking laws. I don't hyper-mile or drive slowly or do anything to annoy other drivers, I just allow a couple of extra metres and anticipate traffic conditions. I'm also aware that there is a difference in best economy and best efficiency of an ICE engine. I've got no real experience with EVs other than the occasional drive, but I am intere

Well checking the info on the screen i dont think there has been any updates done Currently it is MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4177 (MU: 1125) Grracenote DB is Europe 16 Bluetooth 10.593.998 Radio DB 1.91 SW version H29.204.38_HIGH2GP_EU Searching through posts and YT videos ive found out loads of info but id just like to confirm a couple of things on MIB-Helpers site it says Latest possible firmware update: MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526 (MU: 1440) can i just install this update? or is it best to install an earlie
