Went to have a look at an octy vRS(03 plate 31k miles) today and noticed that the front seats were fraying, From where the silver mesh mets the leather on the seat base (under your thighs), is this a common fault.

Went to have a look at an octy vRS(03 plate 31k miles) today and noticed that the front seats were fraying, From where the silver mesh mets the leather on the seat base (under your thighs), is this a common fault.

Yup, it's quite common apparrantly. Don't know if there is anything you can do about it either other than look for another one.

It would probably benefit form the 3years warranty so assuming it was still in warranty you might get them changed.
