REVO Surgeing

Featured Replies

Since having th revo tune under acceleration the car surges in steps instead of a nice smooth acceleration

WHY, please help

Never been in a revo re-mapped car i have to say but i'd imagine its the map or you have a sensor on its way out.

My Octy started to surge above 4K rpm, a new Lambda sensor sorted it out.

My car has covered 88K miles in 2 years 11months though.

Take it back to where you got it re-mapped before you do anything though.

how many miles since you had it re-mapped, mine took 1200 miles to settle down afer it had been done.

You might find you have a boost leak.

If you're talking little tiny barely noticable steps in the power delivery, this seems normal for Revo until it settles in a bit. If its really noticable, its easy to assume its a fault with the remap but from my experience, and as everyone else says, its usually something else being highlighted by the remap as its running a bit more of everything. Have you serviced your DV recently? Any faults on VAGCOM?
