Enzo vs Lambo vs Octavia vRS

Featured Replies

Heading 'darn saarf' from Yorkshire to see friends at the weekend near Kettering, all my suspicions about the quality of life south of Yorkshire was confirmed. We were on the A14, tootling along quite nicely and we were overtaken by an Enzo (red) and a Murcielago (orange).

Naturally I felt obliged to accompany them for a bit, the Skoda being of a similar pace, quality and status. They tolerated me quite well for a few miles and took my being with them without any problems. After a few glorious miles with my window down to hear their engines we had to turn off, but what an experience.

Did anyone else see them? (Sunday around 2pm)

Also, do you think they are on their respective forums commenting on how they were followed by a Skoda?:D

If I had an Enzo and a Murc to play with, I don't think I'd spend any time at all mucking about with computers...so probably not lol.

I wonder if it was for a magazine, not often you get 2 cars like that together!

You must have a 2.0 Fabia! The only Skoda that keeps up with Supercars!

***finds him and b!tch-slaps him***

Mil.........is it really that small you need to make up for it by being so agressive?

^ Who's this cherry??

Stop teasing me over the same subject continuously and I'll stop being aggressive.

Mil..............I'm a long time admirer of your 2.0 Fabia and your command of the english language, however in this country a cherry is a fruit and not an insult. Here ends today's english lesson

If you are what you say you are, you can understand how frustrating it is to have people constantly bring up old threads. And yes, I know a cherry is a fruit. As I have it said before, my English is very best.

Maybe I was a little harsh...sorry Ants.

Surely all the low down torque of the masterful 1.9SDI could pull those bitches in (*in gear of course*)

.....my English is very best.

I beg to differ..............if your English was truely very best you would have realised that Ants was being ironic

Mil, I'm sorry! I did think twice about posting it, but the little Devil on my left shoulder said "Do it!"

Sorry, no offence intended!

Ants

wow you are funny.. are you a comedian?

And who asked you?.........

damn that shoulder devil:P :D

(again no offence intend as none was taken)

:offtopic:

Could have been two rich friends going for a drive or something? I've seen an EB110 and Murcielago together locally here. My theory is that they decide which car to bring out on any given day, then go for a blast :D

Can't blame them really

Steve

Ironic? are you nuts? that aint ironic at all...did you do english at school? Maybe a lesson with Mil will help you?

more like "being the fool"

...and if your english was any better you would have used 'sarcastic' instead of 'ironic', because 'ironic' is not the correct word to use in this context. You would have also realized that '...my english is very best' was intentionally put down like that. You will have ALSO realized, you didn't spell 'truly' correctly.

Now...has anyone on here ever had a Murc fly past them?? It is probably THE scariest things to happen on the road...they're so loud it's like a bomb going off next to you.

Bombs...........Middle East...........touchy subject

^ Who's this cherry??

[banter]

are you calling him a fruit :nono: I would have thought you would be the (joint?) last person to find it amusing if somebody were to cast aspersions on your sexual preferences :P

[/banter]

The loudest thing I've had go past me is probably a big loud Harley at what seemed like full throttle...

Oh dear...

Bombs...........Middle East...........touchy subject

***PUBLIC SERVICE ANOUNCEMENT***

It has come to the attention to 99.9% of briskoda that drivers of 2.0 fabia's have no sense of humour with regards to their cars and as a result are not able to take banter towards them so get all childish and defensive. unlike those of us that drive taxi's or diesel shopping trolleys(although the latter do have a much lower tolerance for banter/pi$$ taking than the aformentioned taxi drivers :) ) that realise it's all just a giggle and ignore it.
