Has anybody noticed how expensive.....

Featured Replies

has anybody noticed how expensive car baby seats are?? i was killing time earlier so i wandered arounf halfrauds for a while to have a gander at there stuff...

some of the car baby seats cost a fortune, they even have those racing type baby seats that boy racers use.

i think 150 odd quid for a baby seat for a car is excessive.

and everybody will want them soon , even for their older kids because the law is changing on the 1st of september iirc , so blatant profiteering by Halfrauds methinks

Yep know exactly what you mean - currently looking at upgrading our rear-facing one to a new forward facing one! Any recommendations are most welcome :D

You have got the Britax factory not too far from your front door ...at least I take it it's still there

You can get it alot cheaper than that though if you look round, we did.

Hope this helps.

It depends on what your looking for.

We got this lot from Mothercare (its made by Graco)

1 x Pushchair/buggy, suitable from birth - 5 years (apparently)

1 x Car seat

1 x Seat base (belts into car and car seat clips onto it, kinda like semi ISO fix)

1 x Changing bag

1 x Rain cover

£130 for the lot.

It depends on what your looking for.

We're looking at the next stage up forward facing seats now as we're 9 1/2 months ahead of you ;):D:rofl:

Just got a Britax ISO FIX2 one for my niece in a sale at Halfords, nice seat I'll check how much it was.
