cheers guys thanks for the help... anyone know by chance if halfords would have them in and a rough price, not wanting anything fancy just 3 of them went white with wonderwheels and the other one was left on a garage forecourt

A pack of 4 plastic ones will be about £1 from most places, halfords included.

I can confirm that Halfords sell them. Mine keep mysteriously disappearing overnight so I have had to replace them. I am not bothered about the cost but I am intrigued to know why someone is stealing them one at a time. Anybody got any ideas?:confused:

Glue them on - then keep a wrench in the car if you need to get them off again

Or locking ones are available - don't know how effective the locking mechanism is on them though :rubchin:

Make it a little bit hard for the thieving toe rags...

You can usually find one or two knocking around on the floor near the air line at petrol stations if you want free replacements!

Halfords do metal ones, which I think are much better. I keep screwing the plastic ones on too tightly and splitting the tops.

Think they're only £3 for 4, or summut.
