Bosch Aero Wiper Arm for Fabia

The Renault supplied wipers are Bosch (it says so on the packet) and fit directly onto the standard hook ended Fabia wiper arm with no messing, or extra clips; takes no more than 30 secs per wiper!! The fit is perfectly snug; don't worry.

Latin for "let the buyer beware". Very highbrow!

I've emailed them to ask what make they are. Thanks for your reply.

Caveat Emptor - High brow? YOU know what it means as well!

Got 2 sets of un-aero wipers from ALDI today for £3.98 (1x19", 1x21").

A bit nippy tonight, otherwise I'd put up some before and after photos.

Got a set of the Megane II wipers the other week for the Ibiza; some of the SCN/SCC boys have been picking them up too.

It would seem that the Ibiza's screen is slightly narrower or something, because they rubbed a little - not all the time mind. I've taken them off anyway.

So if anyone wants these give me a shout. Give me £29 and I'll post them to you.

Might have a go with the Scenic ones now, from what I've read the driver's one is a little shorter than the one that comes with the Megane II setup.

If its just the passenger side they rub at, loosen up the arm and raise it a tad, i had to do this to fit OEM golf aero wipers to my toledo

The gap between driver and passenger blades is too close. I could trim them I suppose but would rather get it right 'out of the box' really.

Just to finish this thread off, I picked up my new aero wipers from my local Renault dealer yesterday, they had to order them in but they only took a couple of days to get to them. £29.79 and fitted in five minutes, jobs a good 'un.

fabia sized ones are now available from WIPERBLADES.CO.UK

I've just ordered myself a set, Would have liked one for the rear too but at only 15" it's smaller than what's available.

I've just fitted a fair and they get a BIG thumps up from me :)

Better visibility in rain.

Clearer drivers view

and they look better

10/10 Best wipers I have had yet.

P.S I'm yet to do a "high speed test" of them - but will lets you know how they perform.;)

*edit* They work superbly at high speed at and are VERY quiet :)

Nice Spot! I've ordered the Bosch Aerotwin pack.

Been wanting some of these for a while, but couldn't bring myself to step anywhere near a Renault Dealer!!!

I'm impressed - ordered early afternoon yesterday and the postman had them in my hand for 8:30am!

After two minutes of head scratching on how to use the clips they're fitted. A great improvement.

Mine took a while to turn up because I ordered them before bosch sent them to the supplier! I got them a couple of days ago and I'm very impressed with the results. Now all I need is one for the rear. :smrbow:

........ Now all I need is one for the rear. :smrbow:

WHY do you need one for the rear? The aerodynamic benefits of the 'Aero' flatblade wiper are completely irrelevant on the rear screen. Besides, the Furby has one of the most stylish and smooth rear wipers on the market; why change it?

Polo and Ibiza drivers will DIE for a Furby's rear wiper.

I thought there were other benefits too ie they last longer. Im pretty sure a couple of people on here already have rear ones fitted. One way or another though, I need a new rear wiper. i was hoping to get one that would fit inside the cover like the normal one does. Time will tell, but for now I'll be getting a normal one next time I visit GSF.

oh and not all polo owners would die for a fabia rear wiper, back in the day everyone wanted one of these:

If you want a wiper to go in the existing (standard) enclosed wiper arm - that is exclusive to Skoda; been there, done that. To fit a bosch aero, be it aero-twin or aftermarket, will therefore need a new wiper arm. Surely not worth the hassle!

so what is it about the enclosed wiper blade that makes it so special? the polo estate has the same design, but predates the fabia by several years.

Agreed it looks good - hence why I was after a 15" blade to retain the cover. Surely the same type of adaptor can be used on the rear as is used on the front? or does the rear blade attach differently? Fair enough if it does.
