Fabia TDi

If the Fabia RS is , as the rumours suggest , going to be a TDi 130 PD with RS bodystyling , sports interior and maybe even slighty flared arches with big wheels , will it be trade in time for your current ride?

I might be tempted, yes.

Another thing i could do is retro fit the wheels and suspension from the Fabia RS onto my Fabia, if it will be possible.

I'm quite fond of the whole "Q car" thing you see, so i'm not too bothered about bodykits etc.

I Picked up the all white car this afternoon, To say I am chuffed is a major understament.

The car looks totally different, even the sales staff who were very sceptical agree that if they had removed the decals they would have sold it ages ago (for more money) & not have to keep reducing it to sell it on.

I do however, feel sorry for the 3 mechanics who spent most of the day with a hairdrier in hand removing the decals. they have done a great job (I think a case of Stella is deserved here).

I will post some pics tomorrow to show how it looks.

Graham  :D

sad sad sad

And so you should be. I've seen an all white one up close, very nice, nearly as good as the black. 8)

Congrats and i hope you enjoy her. Don't forget the pics, If you can stop driving her for five minutes that is

Quality...

(but then I'm biased)

Saw a white RS coming towards me yesterday, he flashed his lights so I flashed back, then he flashed his blue lights in the grille and smiled!!

Looked great, more BTCC than WRC.

Keek 'em coming! That Fabia looks... err... fab!

 yes, it most certainly does

Probably a point I should make elsewhere but... finding this kind of stuff warms my cockles in regard to Skoda making a good looking, streetwise and quick addition to their on-road sports range. I love the Octy, don't get me wrong. But Skoda need to think about a possible replacement in the coming years. It would be a shame if the parent group's big brother's swoop and policy dictates that SEAT will take the market for sporting models in future years. (Definately not knocking the Cupra boys though... The 'R' is hard as ya like  )

hehe, tho that last CGI WRC skoda looks more octavia than fabia based?

Stathap, we've only just added that smiley, well spotted!

oh yes

Cheers!

Just re-read the bit you said about the bottom one being Octy based and you're spot on. The lights should have given it away for me  . Cool...in the same kind of way as the old Escort Cosworth being built on top of a modified Sierra chasis.

I hope Bandit's nice new car hasn't got a nasty dent in the drivers side door like Mr Auriol seems to have picked up in Tesco's car park in the top pic I posted.

'Didier Auriel' means 'small ears' in French. Not alot of people know that.

All white Bandit1,

Stunning my man, positively stunning 8) 8) 8) 8)

Not convinced about the green stripe, but it looks great.

Quality.

Possibly do with a rubbing strip attached down the doors now the decals have gone, colour coded in green?

Thanks for the comments.

Rubbing strips (Black) being added this morning along with front mudflaps (

A genuine case of 'buy this and you will stun and amaze your friends!' Looking forward to seeing pics when the side strips have been fitted. They should definitely improve the looks further.

Realising now the front and rear rubbing strips are still black, you could be right on that...

However, mudflaps in white in a WRC stylee could be cool, as could a "VRS" or "WRC" badge above the side indicators..

Either way, cool machine.. 8)

Mud flaps should be over sized, and green!

And covered with that spray-catching surface that HGVs have on their mudflaps... 8)
