Indicators

As posted, there is a minimum 3 blinks if the indicator is activated - and I don't think it matters if you fully engage or just "touch" the stalk - you'll get the 3 blinks.

The vRS driver above was probably just confused as to why his/her indicators wouldn't cancel. When I first test drove a new Octy I did the same thing coming off a roundabout - indicating one way then the next in my attempts to cancel the blinks...

It's a feature I now use a lot and I miss it when it's not there.

Just wondering if this is at me ???? Ignore below if not :)

If it is, its not a case of confusion...the indicators are broken :) they intermittantely won't cancel when fully actived.

It was about the person who was apparently doing the blinkies one way then the other on a motorway.

Have the same problem myself, and was in the dealers today when another bloke mentioned this to the service desk. They checked his car while I was there and told him, no fault codes found & and worked on test! I left with him pointing out that it "was a genuine fault!" in a very loud & unhappy way! I would like to know what the fault is before I go back to them as they are going to get sick of my car before long!! Having to have a new interior drivers door handle soon as mine pulled out of the door, after the dealer had had to replace the chrome door release handle as the chrome peeled off!! ho hum!!
