Turbo... 2 days... spoke too soon

Featured Replies

Refused to work for the journey home..... so the coolant sensor must have just been coincidence :(

See told you you should have sold it while it worked ;)

Hope you get that sorted mate it's starting to sound like a complete pig and then some. Honestly might be worth quitting now and dropping it into that turbo specialist you mentioned ringwood way.

It is due to go into Westover on Friday (i'll drop it off the night before), and they were talking about taking the turbo out and checking all was well with it....

Octy 2 vrs tdi estate, 180bhp.... could make the drive to work a bit more fun - but how to I tell the gf I can't afford to insure her on it?!?!

If Westover fail on this attempt, it is probably time to try a turbo specalist.. but I am not sure it is the turbo... but something that controls it.... (which I why I am hoping that a dealer who knows more about the engine should stand a better chance than a generic turbo place....)

And i would thinks its a turbo or a N75 valve.

only 170.. not worth changing then!!

We shall see... already had both of them swapped once!

The turbo specialist will usually know about all the control systems too, but fair comment.

You don't seem to be having much luck with the car matt :(
