Anyone ordered yet ??

Well has anyone, or is anyone about to, or is anyone giving it serious thought?

No - absolutely and utterly not :)

HTH.

Took the works car ;) down to skoda today to pick up some bits for the conversion... saw one in the flesh in silver... looking really good the roomster

A little while back I was hell bent on getting a Roomster 2...mainly as we have a 1 year old and another on the way.

However, the dealer was honest and said we had far more room in our Octy 2.

So we kept the Octy 2 and I bought the Superb as another family wagon:)

Took a 3 out for a drive today, great build quality, plenty of space up front and in the back, although I was hell bent on buyng one I'm not so sure now, unlike when I took the Vrs for a test drive I had to have it there and then.

Think you really need to evaluate the Roomster over a few days, the performance of the 105pd tdi is good, nice and stable round the bends, this car was equipped with Maxi Dot, Climate and Remote stereo controls, which were all great to use, so they would be an immediate tick on the options list.

One thing that was apparent, the beige cloth really does mark quickly. The 400 mile demo Roomter I drove proved that. It's a shame that the 3 only comes with beige interior so I'm afraid I'd have to go for a 2 with grey/blue interior then spec it up with the panoramic roof, parking sensors and the options I listed above.

Dealer told me it's January delivery for a new order. Need to think about my purchase now, I'm not going to rush into it, especially as the new Fabia is just round the corner.

The new Fabia could actually turn out to be the Roomsters worst enemy.

I saw one driving past me the other day, it looked good but I wouldn't swap!

especially as the new Fabia is just round the corner.

From the Driver/ passenger seat forward You are looking at the new Fabia.........................So my local dealer reckons...........:)

i think the roomster 3 will be available with a darker interior in the new year , so i was told at the launch party

Shame about the window line, i think it will put most people off, from the side it looks like a cut and shut model made with two different cars

I quite agree but sitting inside it does feel nice. The wife also liked it but we

will be sticking with vRS's for now :)

I thought the same until i drove one and then i didn't even notice it.

What no one??? Apart from me! At least it should make the waiting list shorter.

even stevie wonder wouldn't be pleased to see it, hateful looking thing.

i wouldn't buy one as a joke let alone as my car.

I ordered one today. It's Cappuccino beige 80hp TDI with Sport seats, 16" wheels, glass roof, Maxi DOT etc. Won't get it until next year.

I was actually going to buy a Octavia, but after looking at the Roomster in the store I asked for a test drive. The dealer let me have it during the weekend, and I discovered it was really a nice little car with lots of room.

My father ordered one a couple of days after he saw it on the launch day - its a Roomster 3 with maxi-dot, TPM, etc. Anyway, it came into our dealers yesterday so we went down to look at it today and its really nice. Its anthracite grey and this colour looks just like the BMW dark grey, making the car look more expensive. Hes picking it up next tuesday as our salesman is away on holidays this week so I'll keep you posted when he gets it.

had a play in one at parkside bolton yesterday. they're not cheap, but they're quite nice. looks are a little unconventional, but space is *huge*. new fabia front, massive rear with slidy rear seats you can take out and an enormous boot. i was quite impressed...

I've got one on loan from the local garage whilst my Octy gets some work done. It's a Roomster 3 in Blue with a beige interior, maxidot, cruise control, climate control etc. I can take pics tomorrow and email them if someone wants to put them on here?

Hve just part exed my fabia 1.2 for a Roomster 3 1.4 tdi after getting one whilst my fabia was being fixed looks a bit weird at the start but it drives great. Pic it up in 2 weeks. Cant wait!!!

I'm sure as is demonstated here, there are people that love it. A bit like the original multipla. The thing that throws me off instantly is the front windows don't match the back. It looks like they have welded two totally different cars together. the boy racer in my is still shunning things that are practical over looks and performance. Would be an interesting Vrs model....
