Aerial signal booster

Featured Replies

You take the power from the electrical aerial output on your new headunit.

The factory fitted changer will be connected via Mini ISO, if your JVC uses that then you should be ok.

Hi,

Having had cack signal strength after installing my Alpine HU here in Poland in my Octavia, (previously I had a cack HU but fitted by Skoda Service when I bought the car so Signal strength was good), I've checked the site today and found I need the aerial booster adapter thingy mentioned above.

After spending most of the day trying to tell my Polish friends what it is I need, I went to my local ICE shop after work, gave them the code of the Halfords cable PC5-52. A quick picture revealed the Polish name and that they have them in stock.

Question is now, you mention "You take the power from the electrical aerial output on your new headunit."

Is this the blue "Power Ant" (to power Antenna) or the Blue/white "Remote turn on" (to amplifier or equalizer) on the Alpine.

The reason why I ask about the blue/white is that I saw a post on aerial boosters where it was mentioned somethong about Blue/white wires

Chrz in advance for your help

Chris

The Blue Power Ant cable is ideal.

Thanks,

I'll give it a crack at weekend.

Chris
