Cleaning inside of windscreen

Featured Replies

IMO the idea is to take muck off, not put more gunge on, so traditional is best. I use a microfibre cloth for the wash stage and a very very soft kitchen paper for the drying stage, run horizontally across the windscreen.

That is different from washing house windows, when you'd do the outside vertically and the inside horizontally so you can see which side is not clear :)

Old newspaper & a solution of vinegar and warm water.

I have tried loads of the various window cleaner products, but still think the above works best for me.

either newspaper and vinegar/hot water, or nilglass(cheap and good)

failing that, just convert the car to rwd and roll down your "windscreen"

agree with woodie, nilco nilglass is the way forward, using a bit of blue roll - the stuff like you get in the pub

Failing that I've used newspaper with vinegar on it before now. That works a treat too

So once you've been to Shifty's, just wipe the inside of the windscreen with the wrapper.....Fish 'n' chips and a clean windscreen................Sorted...:)
