I'm trying to change the battery in the folding key fob of my octavia. The handbook only show you how to change it in the non-folding fob. Althoguh i can see where the fob joins, it won't open easily and i don't want to force it and risk busting the fob (and having to fork out for a new one).

Anyone out there with the know-how?

oh? :confused: no screw fitted, or no screw position? All the ones I've seen across all marques have had a screw under there..

Nope you put a screwdriver in the middle of the key body and gently turn it and that is enough to pop they key open. Then you just pull the key apart.
