Didn`t want to do it. Wanted to keep the Skoda identity but something more low key, anyways took the badge off the engine cover which is black. I think it suits and will be buying 2 more, 1 for the back and 1 for the engine cover. What do you guys think.

Hmmmmm....... I dunno.

It looks alright close up, but looks a bit strange further away.

On the close up it looks good but from a distance not as good. Nice to see something different though

IMHO I would tone down the chrome surround as well, and I think you might be onto something good. I still like what you've done so far. As I said IMHO.

I had the black badge on the front but with a black grille surround on a black car it didnt look right,so i took it off after a week or so.

The rear badge has to be heated up and bent to fit properly

Ive kept the rear badge black(about £5 from the dealers)

Very different, but i wouldn't do that to my car!

needs the chrome trim painted black...

I agree! It would look 10 times better then!

Thanks for your input. Have decided to go all black.

"Once you go black you never go back"

Or so the girlfriend tells me.

Will post pics when "Rudolf" is done.

Good lad:thumbup: Another thing that would look alot better, change the indicator bulbs! Get some silver or diadems in it and it will look much better.
